DoC Awards usually are awarded at the Awards Banquet in mid-April for accomplishments in the previous calendar year. The detailed instructions below are written with that goal in mind. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the awards banquet originally planned for April 17, 2020 had to be cancelled. It is hoped that the 2020 Awards Banquet can be held at the beginning of FS20.  The nomination and selection processes also were affected by recent events. It is likely that there will be another call for nominations.  Return to this post for updates.

Update, November 5, 2020:  It has become clear that circumstances will not allow us to gather for a 2020 Awards Banquet.  Moreover, it is becoming more and more likely that the 2021 Awards Banquet might not happen in April 2021.  Hence, we have to adjust to the new realities and adapt as best as possible.  Today, we re-open the nomination process for the 2020 awards.  The awards will be awarded for commendable performances  in calendar year 2019 as originally planned.  The nomination process will be as described below with the following revised deadlines.  In those cases where nominations need to be reviewed by a committee (GAC, PC), the respective committee needs to receive the nominations by Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  Results of awardee selections need to be reported to the DoC Chair by Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  Awards will be announced online.
